  Christina Aguilera showcases her brilliant talent in this movie about a girl who moves to the big city to find fame and stardom. A little predictable in some places and Cher's performance was a little disappointing but the other actors/actresses carried the story well. The plot was slow at times, and there were a few scenes that probably didn't need to be included, however overall a good movie.

  i enjoyed this movie it was nice seeing a musical with 2 great stars in it that balanced out. have seen it 3 times

  What a great movie! The singing and dancing were fabulous! The storyline itself is a bit blah, but Christina did a great job acting and my mom had no idea that she wasn't a "professional" actress!

  I found Cher in the movie to be absolutely amazing, she stole the show. The plot of a struggling small town girl had a nice twist and i thought it was well written. However I found myself drawn to Cher`s character more than Christina`s which was a little disappointing since Christina was the main character.

  Loved it!!! Just saw it in the theater and rushed home to download the soundtrack!! Can't wait for it to come out on DVD/Bluray as I will be one of the first to buy it!
